The parent/caregiver support group is a safe place for parents/caregivers/family members of autistic individuals to meet, chat, and share experiences of their families’ journeys supporting a loved one with autism. We often invite professionals and others in to speak on topics related to autism (ex. SLPs, autistic individuals, psychologists, BCBAs, educators, first responders, etc.) It is a space for support, positivity, encouragement and reassurance. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at the Military Family Resource Centre. Keep an eye on our social media for meeting notifications and updates!
For more information including how to register for the group, please contact admin@autismconnections.ca
