Vulnerable Persons Registry

One-On-One Tutoring for Autistic Students

Tutoring is academic in nature, with a focus on providing behavioural supports and accommodations to each child that meets their individual learning style. We provide tutoring with a focus on English (reading and writing), Math, Science, Social Studies, and test preparation. Lessons will focus on homework help or specific materials provided by the parents.

Tutors have autism specific training and are supervised by a certified teacher, and supported by our clinical board members. Bilingual tutoring limited by availability. An intake assesses the child’s needs and determines program suitability.

Vulnerable Persons Registry

What is the Vulnerable Person Registry?

The Vulnerable Person Registry is a voluntary registry which allows citizens to record vital information pertaining to themselves, vulnerable family members, or other persons in their care. It can be found on the City of Fredericton's website. This information can be used to assist police in the event of an incident involving the registered person. Once the form is filled out, please mail or drop off the completed form to the Fredericton Police Department.

Autism Connections will no longer be accepting the Vulnerable Persons Registry forms, they must be submitted directly to the Fredericton Police

York Sunbury Ground Search & Rescue

The York Sunbury Ground Search & Rescue program is pleased to introduce Project Lifesaver. This new initiative allows caregivers of individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other diverse needs to monitor a person's location through the use of a wearable wristband in the event of an emergency. In the event that the wearer were to go missing, the search and rescue team would use the wristband to track the individual's location and facilitate the search process.

For more information, contact the York Sunbury Search & Rescue team for a free consultation.
